3. Mountain raised. Backwood born. Built to last.

Origin:  Appalachian American  |  adj. Wavorra — of or relating to the spirit of those who rise before dawn, work until dark, and never quit.

Our Story

Wavorra didn't start in a boardroom. It started in the hills of West Virginia — in the kind of place where you earn everything you get, respect is non-negotiable, and your word means something.

Born and raised in the mountains of WV by military veterans who instilled the values of honor, discipline, and grit from day one, the founder of Wavorra is a proud Gen X — a 1980s kid who grew up knowing the value of hard work long before it was a hashtag.

A career spent in Fire & EMS, military family ties running deep, and a life lived outdoors — hunting, fishing, hitting the trails on the buggy, and teeing it up on the golf course — Wavorra is the product of a life fully lived. It's not a brand built by trend-chasers. It's built by someone who has answered the call, carried the weight, and still shows up every single day.

The idea sparked in the winter of 2024 — a vision to create something that truly represented the people who keep America running. The ones who don't ask for recognition. The blue collar workers, the veterans, the hunters, the campers, the trail riders, the first responders. The ones who work hard, play hard, and would give the shirt off their back to help a neighbor.

That's Wavorra. Built for you.

“Work hard. Play hard. Strive to be the best. Honor. Courage. Grit.”

“Land of the Free — because of the Brave.”
